Ms.
Fujimoto holds a Masters Degree in Urban Planning from UCLA, and
has a twenty year history of work with community based organizations
in the Asian Pacific Islander and Latino communities. She provides
a wealth of experience in nonprofit organizational development, policy
analysis, advocacy, community organizing, research, management and
administration. Ms. Fujimoto’s work has spanned the areas of
immigration, employment, organized and informal labor, health and
human services, civil and human rights, and public interest law.
Her consultant work includes program planning and development; community
based research; evaluation; technical report writing; and foundation
prospect research and grant writing.
Ms. Fujimoto is a member of the Steering Committee,
Asian Pacific American Community Research Roundtable, and has served as an Advisory
Committee member to several foundations developing initiatives
to increase evaluation capacity in community based organizations.
